NOIR MAGAZINE
“noir” magazine is a brand identity project I worked on for a graphic design course and personal project. I challenged myself to create a fake brand identity around existing unbranded or unlabeled black items in my wardrobe that I could construct an imaginary brand collection around. I drew inspiration from a variety of French luxury brands, from which I decided to title my collection and magazine “noir”. In adddition to designing and orienting the magazine, I also directed a photoshoot in which I modeled with the items that were being featured in this imaginary collection. This project was a great exploration in the world of brand identity and creative directory, two areas in the world of design that particularly interest me.
